Meet the Directors

Dave Mills and Kristy Franks founded Mills + Franks in January 2020, bringing together decades of industry expertise to create a business specialising in luxury wedding planning, seamless event management, and hospitality consulting across Australia.

Having met while working with Solotel and Matt Moran’s portfolio of restaurants, bars, and venues, Dave and Kristy share a passion for exceptional service, authentic experiences, and creativity in all forms of hospitality. With a combined 35 years of experience—including owning their own restaurant—they have supported award-winning venues, executed high-profile events and brand activations, and curated bespoke VIP experiences while maintaining a positive, results-driven culture.

When they’re not hosting clients, you’ll find them travelling to new regions, meeting winemakers and producers, and exploring local cultures—curating itineraries that are famous among family and friends for their detail and authenticity.
